Gorgeous day for it, so went with the family to Ramsbottom. Left family to ramble up the hill, while I went on an adventure.

These cows were mighty skittish
Those things are called “Cairns”. I really should pay attention to where they are, I come across several every run.
So begins the route back to Peel Tower

I really am spoiled by some of the routes around my local area. Gorgeous.
It was great seeing this after I’d passed 3 or 4 of these mysterious flagpoles. Not a single sign from the other direction.
